Welcome to my kitchen!

I started sharing recipes and food related content on instagram (@honeyibaked) in 2019 and have learned so so much since then. Mostly: simplicity goes a long way and prep-work is my best friend.

I live in Washington, DC with my boyfriend and two cats. We love to travel and try new restaurants but my favorite kitchen will always be the one I call home!

I love fresh herbs, cheese, pasta, grilling, a juicy steak and a crisp glass of wine.

While this account is called “honey, I baked!” that is a reference to the cult classic 90s film “Clueless” and I don’t currently bake very often! I prefer the art of cooking to the science of baking. If you’ve watched my videos then you know that there’s rarely a measuring cup in sight, certainly not a scale.

I do, like many of you, have a dream of baking my own bread so sourdough is in my future. Stay tuned!
