Bailey's Irish Mocha

part coffee, part hot cocoa, fully incredible.

Bailey's is potentially my favorite part about the cold months. Definitely top 5 (soup, christmas, birthday, chunky sweaters are up there as well).

This "recipe" is really easy so I'll make this quick.

You'll need:

  • 1 cup coffee

  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoons brown sugar

  • 2 shots Bailey's Irish Cream

Instructions:

  1. Make your cup of coffee however you normally would. I have a Nespresso machine (that I love) so I just make one pod.

  2. Add almond milk to a small pot and heat over medium on the stove.

  3. Add in cocoa powder, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar. Whisk and let heat until it begins to steam. If you whisk enough it'll get kinda frothy.

  4. Turn heat to low, add in coffee and Bailey's. Stir again.

  5. Split into two mugs (or just one if you don't want to share!) and enjoy.

Tip: you could totally make this on the stove in a bigger batch and then keep warm in a crock pot for a larger group or just make it in crock pot, ie on low for an hour or two and then keep it on warm.
