My new favorite sauce for... everything!
I put down the ingredients I added but you can mix this up depending on what you have on hand / can find at your grocery store. Don't have arugula but you do have spinach? swap! You can also play around with the quantities of each, these are approximate.
10-12 basil leaves
carrot leaves from 4-5 carrots
1/2 cup dill (or more)
1 cup arugula
3 garlic cloves
1/4 cup avocado or olive oil (plus more to adjust)
fresh black pepper
salt to taste
parmesan cheese (as much as you want but at least 2 tablespoons)
Add all your greens to a blender or food processor. Grate parmesan and add in. Peel, smash and cut your garlic into chunks. Add that in as well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour over the avocado oil and then blend for about 30 seconds.
If its having trouble mixing try adding more oil or a tablespoon or two of cold water then mix again.
Either use right away or store in a sealed container in your fridge for a few days.
Add this to pasta, rice bowls, salad, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, steak... you get the point!
