Ham is my favorite Thanksgiving dish :)
8-12 lb cooked spiral ham
An oven safe baking dish
Heavy duty aluminum foil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons dijon or brown mustard
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
Remove ham packaging and place the ham in your baking dish.
Mix together the glaze and brush on just enough to lightly cover the surface - most of it will go on near the end.
Loosely cover the ham/ baking dish with heavy duty aluminum foil.
Bake the ham for 10-12 minutes per lb of ham. For example - my ham is 10lbs so I am baking it for 120 minutes.
With 40 minutes left, remove the ham from the oven and pour on the remaining glaze. Cover again and continue baking until the time is done.
Remove your ham from the oven and carve! It should almost fall off the bone.
