This is a great way to step up your at home latte and cocktail game! Lavender adds a soft floral flavor thats easy to work with.
1 cup water
1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
Add all ingredients to a sauce pot (1 - 2 quart) and bring to a boil. As soon as the sugar is fully dissolved, turn it down to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, remove from heat, cover & steep for 1 hour.
After an hour, strain out the lavender buds and pour the remaining syrup into a glass jar or bottle for safe keeping!
*Note: this is potent! I would suggest adding a few drops at a time, a little goes a long way
